Put this on your bucket list NOW
We have 360 degrees of fireworks in our neighborhood right now. It absolutely non-stop everywhere you look and this is just what you can buy at the corner store! Our hearts were just pounding! Just had 1st slight lull 40 minutes in. This video is just the view from our inn's rooftop. One of the most amazing things we've ever seen! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

So cool! Brings back many memories when I lived in beijing, outside the 5th ring, where anything goes on New Years and the fireworks go all night long!
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic, isn't it Myra! All we'd been hearing from expats in our town was how awful the month of January was going to be with non-stop fireworks. But we were completely enamored! I'll admit we went to bed early, woke up when the entire room was shaking, grumbled for a second, then said 'it is a once in a lifetime experience, idiot! get up!' then scurried up to the roof and watched in awe for the next 45 minutes. Amazing.
